It’s no secret that I’m a lover of the high-street and the vast array of fashion and beauty products available, season upon season. When I found out H&M were set to launch their brand new AW15 beauty range, I must say, I was immediately impressed. From the stunning product photography, to the simplistically chic packaging, I’m intrigued to find out more about the product quality themselves!

Inspired by seasonal trends and colours, the launch includes a full range of make-up, haircare, body care and beauty styling essentials. The launch comes at a time when it is easier than ever before to create a personal style statement with beauty products, whether the desired look is natural, classic or more dramatic. There will be new, dedicated beauty areas in stores for customers to experiment with the latest make-up trends and develop a personal and unique look.

We are very excited to launch H&M Beauty. It’s an opportunity to be inventive, creative and to have fun with colour that inspires us,” says Sara Wallander, Concept Designer, H&M Beauty.

There will be over 700 beautifully packaged make-up products in the collection, with seasonal drops of new and limited edition colour palettes throughout the year.  The new assortment, which will replace existing beauty products at H&M, will also include two subsidiary collections: a premium beauty line and a conscious range of Ecocert-approved sustainable products.

With Topshop usually being my no.1 go to for high-street make-up, could H&M shoot to the top of my future wish lists? Either way, I’m excited to find out! What beauty products do you go for from the high-street and are you looking forward to the new aw15 collections? Let me know in the comments below!

Subtle ombre sunset lip

i2style

i2style

Recently, I’ve been reminiscing about the Illamasqua Ombre pink lip, I created around this time last year! Consequently, it was only a matter of time before I tested out a new one! Seeing as we’re currently in a slight transitional, seasonal period, it can be a little tricky knowing what to wear, let alone what lip colour to rock! So, as a salute to Summer…as, let’s face it, Mr Sunshine has definitely not got his hat on anymore, I decided to create a subtle sunset ombre creation.

Using x4 of my favourite lipsticks, as well as a lip liner and a dap of eyeshadow shimmer, this look can be created in under 5 minutes, with ease! Making sure your lips are marvellously moisturised, simply line them with your nearest, darkest colour and work the lipsticks in from there! I wanted to create an almost metallic/light reflecting effect, upon the lightest part of the lip, so for this I used my perviously stated gold eyeshadow cream formula eyeshadow, (this one was from illamasqua) – proving great versatility, within a product, most would only imagine being good for one purpose!

I love this subtle look. I can imagine wearing it on some of the last Summer Evenings, we’ll hopefully encounter. I also like how it matches my red sparkly dress, (of course I planned that one) and new ombre hair! If you’ve created similar looks this Summer, or are experimenting with lip colours for fall already, let me know in the comments below. I’d love to know!

Styling my Katy Perry Prism Necklace

i2style

Hello Guys & Gals, it’s that time again, where the classically, cool Claire’s brings excitement to shop floors, for yet another Spring, Summer Season! With the launch of the recent Katy Perry Prism Collection, I was quick to pick up a piece and style it up. I was drawn to this beautiful gold and gum metal statement necklace, that features the rather appropriate ROAR wording and other Katy Perry Prism symbols! The necklace itself, sits really well and literally goes with everything.

I have worn this piece almost everyday, to work, in my recent catch up Vlog, on nights out…and now, within this photoshoot for the purpose of this post! It’s such a versatile piece that you really can wear with anything. Being a fan of the ol’ Monochrome look, I chose to pair this beauty, with a chic black little number and a statement makeup look & bag. I thought the colours would work well with all pieces, focussing on specs of mustard and canary yellow, deep shades of purple and of course, black. These colours suit my type of skin tone, if put together delicately, and i’m sure so many others CAN all rock this too!

I’m waiting for a rather special and sassy occasion to wear this outfit, although wearing it around my garden makes me feel more than satisfied, that I’ve got the most out of an outfit :p. Have you been wearing similar pieces this season? If so, what are they? The Katy Perry Prism Collection, as a whole, is fun, on trend and most importantly affordable. For such an iconic and inspirational Lady, she sure has succeeded creating…well, just that! After being a fan of Claire’s since I was a child, I’m so pleased its been able to aid me in all my Accessory needs, right the way through into Adulthood and I genuinly look forward to continuing this beautiful shopping journey with them in the future!

Orange was once described as ‘the colour of insanity’ – Vincent Van Gogh

hollysi2style

From the Catwalk, to the High Street, crushing on Orange, seems to be what SS14 is all about! There is a striking, statement like quality, behind a person wearing Orange this season and it seems to be one of those colours, that’s becoming more and more wearable. Personally, I enjoy a hint of a hue…due to my preferred monotone wardrobe domination, and find Orange to be one of my favourites! Whether it be accessorising, with a great pair of heels, a statement clutch, or just a flash of the colour upon an item of Jewellery; when paired with something of a more neutral tone, it can be terrifically versatile, and rather brilliant when needing to dress up or down an outfit.

I have even began to feel more drawn towards Orange hued makeup, as of late, with lipstick being a firm favourite, of course! With the wonders of ‘pinned’ images, floating around peoples Pinterest pages and Blogs, I have become rather eager to start up my own little image collection, however one that is to be showcased upon another area of the world wide web, and focussing firmly upon Fashion.

You may, or may not have noticed, my recent Tweets, sharing my Fashion collections from Grabble.com. Grabble is a refreshing new social platform, that enables users to not only ‘grab’ some of their most wanted Fashion items, to make awesome collection boards, but to also shop! Yes, you read right. Shop. Grabble go’ers can grab from any Fashion website, anywhere, or alternatively grab from other peoples profiles, to discover items that you may not have before! The impact it is having upon Bloggers, Brands and general online site lovers, is already proving to be rather exciting! And, as a start up Company, I am rather impressed.

As a result, one of the themes I wanted to display on Grabble, was my crush on Orange! I have discovered more items than I imagined on there, and chose my favourites to showcase within one of my collections. I also aim to be buying from here once my next pay day commences.

I recently read that Orange was once described by Vincent van Gogh, as being ‘the colour of insanity’. Now, if that doesn’t say something of a statement quality, then I don’t know what does! I am very excited about this vibrant and rather infectious colour trend, and do believe that for me, will be one of the greatest accent colours, of the season, and perhaps even moving forward into Fall!

Has Orange been a favourite for you this season? If not, what colour has been? I’d love to know!

My chosen Valenties Day makeup

i2style valentines

i2style valentines

Last week I asked you guys on here and on twitter, what Valentines look I should go for out of the showcased options (all inspirational images from Pinterest). I was very happy to recreate the second look, with a deep dark lustrous lip, and a golden eye. It’s a very pretty look yet it has an element of intensity, which I love and felt was very appropriate for Valentines day/night.

I created a soft smokey golden eye using my Naked 3 palette, which I adore! And I used Nars for creating the deep lip, with a bit of Tanya Burrs lipgloss over the top, to add a slight hint of sheen to them, the lipgloss I used was called exotic island, and the colour is stunning on its own, let alone ontop of another lip product! I have also created a video tutorial of how I created the look, and aimed for it to be up today but I’m having technical issues exporting and uploading it, for some reason, but it hopefully will be up soon, once technology decides to play ball! I hope you all had an amazing valentines day whatever you got up too!
